What to expect
HST reviews applications during open hours, and many approved adoptions can be completed the same day. Pets cannot be placed on hold; the first approved applicant who is onsite and ready may complete the adoption.
Adoption fees generally range from $150 to $450 and help support veterinary care, prevention, supplies, sheltering, and future animals needing help.
Support after adoption
Adoption benefits may include spay or neuter, age-appropriate vaccines and prevention, a microchip with free Fi registration, eligible testing, starter resources, and current partner offers. Program terms and eligibility can change, so confirm details with the adoption team.
